Kidou: Hado

Kido Guidelines:

Every ten levels you are able to perform the next set of kido. Ex. Level ten: can perform up to level 19 kidou spells. Level thirty: can perform up to level thirty nine kidou spells. Unless you've achieved the necessary mastery perk, your character must state the necessary incantation, if there is one.


Mastery Perks:

Upon reaching Kido Intelligence level 30 you are able to perform kido while only calling out the number and name of the spell, but only for Kido at level 29 and below.

Upon reaching Kido Intelligence level 50, you are able to perform Kido while only calling out the number and name of the spell, but only for Kido at level 49 and below.  At this level of mastery, up to 20 SP can be added to the base cost of any Kido.

Upon reaching Kido Intelligence level 70, you are able to perform any Kido up to level 79 while only calling out the number and name of the spell.  Defensive Kido can be used on an instantaneous and instinctive basis even against the fastest of attacks as long as such attacks can be sensed. In addition, up to 30 SP can be added to the standard cost of any Kido ability.

Upon reaching Kido Intelligence level 90, you are able to perform Kido by stating only the name of the spell, save for Kido at level 91 and above. Up to 40 points can be added to the standard cost of any Kido. Kido incantations can be spliced, and multiple Kido can be performed in the time it would take lower ranks to perform one without accounting for the time it takes to use incantations.  Forbidden Kido can be mastered.

Ultimate Mastery Perk:  At Kido Intelligence 100, characters are able to perform any Kido silently, and more quickly than any other rank.  Due to being able to perform kido without speaking a word, your character can perform multiple kido in the time any other rank would take to form just one.  In addition, you are able to add up to 45 points to the standard cost of any Kido. 

Rule on Incantations: Having a character state an incantation doubles the base cost of the Kido, making the costs listed below half of their potential cost not accounting for other increases from mastery perks.  Once an incantation is completed, the spell cannot be dodged. This only applies to spells with an incantation listed.  If a user is forced to use a fighting post before an incantation can be completed, it interrupts the incantation and the user must start over.

Rule on Spirit Flash: this technique cannot be used to increase the power of Kido on this list.

Description: Fires a ball of red energy at a target.

Description: Essentially a doubled version of #33, this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety.

Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens."

Name: Hado Number 90: Kurohitsugi (Black Coffin)
Type: Hado
Description: Forms a box of black energy around a target, which is then pierced by dozens of energy "spears," lacerating the one inside from head to toe. Its appearance and function is reminiscent of a common magician's trick, as well as certain torture devices used during the Spanish Inquisition. The spell is very difficult to use, as even Aizen could only unleash a third of its power without stating the particular incantation, when he used it on Sajin Komamura.

Name: Hado Number 91: Senjū Kōten Taihō (Thousand-Hand Bright Heaven Culling-Sear)
Type: Hado
Description: Summons several spears of light that are all fired towards the same focal point where the intended target resides. The culminating explosion is exceedingly devastating, but extremely compressed resulting in the utter annihilation of the target while minimizing collateral damage.

Incantation: "Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands, unable to touch the darkness. Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky. The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders. Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower. Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired"

Name: Hado Number 96: Ittō Kasō (Single Blade Cremation)
Type: Hado
Description: A forbidden spell used by Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto. It is a spell that causes a huge pillar of fire to erupt from the ground in the shape of a katana's tip. It is implied to be a forbidden technique that can only be activated by using one's own body as a catalyst. Aizen calls it the spell of sacrifice.
